S.M.A.R.T.
STUDENTS MAKING A RIGHT TURN®
Teaching Young Men to excel in education and leadership
Students in the 11th and 12th grade are offered career choice opportunities to work with local business entrepreneurs. However, the students are active participants of the S.M.A.R.T. program and must maintain a 2.5+ G.P.A.
One of our S.M.A.R.T. students was selected to sit on the YGA board for two years as a grant approval specialist.
Darnell is now finishing up his freshmen year at Winston Salem State University, where he's majoring in Computer Science.
Terez the other student in the photo attends A&T majoring in marketing candidate to graduate December 2018. He is a rising senior.
Both students are doing extremely well. Terez and some other college students have formed their own non-profit organization called H.O.P.E. Helping Our People Everywhere.
